Reading Syllabus

Authority comes from God no matter how it has been put in place... Democracy is not the ultimate good / the authority comes from God not the people.

Council teaching heresy - what remedy? Perhaps Vatican II should be totally condemned (because of the error and the spirit) then if there are one or two truths uttered then they should be brought out as a separate document in due course...

Novena to St Pius X

Our family took up the Novena to St Pius X after Rosary each evening, on the day we started it our first contract came through which appeared small and triffling but excellent to train the boys up on - so we accepted it - it is actually a huge international company - we had to sign a non-disclosure document to keep the client name private until the building is released. The second contract came through and the data was collected on 3rd September, feast of St. Pius X -  a nod and a wink from…

Wales -> England

Deo Gratias. After prayers to St Jospeh and St Anthony.

 We have moved from beautiful, wet, windy, Wales to the shires of England, we have exchanged the wonderful beginnings of a new mission with new converts, holy communicants and confirmands for daily access to the Mass and sacraments. I was a bit sad to leave our reformation saints behind but have since discovered that the gorgeous cottage we have rented is 15th century and probably blessed by a pre - reformation priest!…

St David Lewis - ora pro nobis

We went to visit the grave of St. David Lewis today (Holy Saturday) after our family rosary.

St. David please convert all sinners,  restore the full Catholic Faith adhering to Tradition in all it's glory with the Tridentine Latin Mass throughout Wales. Amen.

St David Lewis - ora pro nobis

Our last Welsh Mass was celebrated by Fr. Macdonald and he had a request from a very dear friend (plus another friend of his) to be received into the Church. My very first lonesome pilgrimage to the grave of St David Lewis was for the conversion of my son and this friend.  Perhaps this saint alongside St John Lloyd, St.Philip Efans (Cardiff) , St Thomas de Canteloup (Hereford) are looking after my pals.... so sad to be leaving Wales just as it's spiritual life springs to life...

Goodbye St David Lewis

We have finally sold our house. We will live closer to the Mass and perhaps I will be able to continue saying the Divine Office with it's noble and ancient lineage together with the religious in the new location, but I will miss St. David Lewis I have visited the place of his martyrdom many times now. The pilgrimage is a regular prayer of my muscles, feet, blisters...good kind of prayer when words get dry and feel empty. Each time I have completed it either with companions or alone the…

St David Lewis - ora pro nobis

On the 22nd November we had our first public Tridentine Latin Mass in South Wales, offered by the SSPX. Huzzar!

.....The following day we had an offer on our house please pray that is goes through successfully. We need to move for various reasons but I hope that this will be the Mass that indicates a conversion for family that we leave behind - please support it through attendance or prayers if you can. I have huge hopes for South Wales they have a dense population of Reformation…

Reformation Saints

If you want to know how to ask "where is the old post office? " in Polish just ask St David Lewis, and my guess is that his favourite game is rugby in fact a modern reformation saint would in all likelihood sponsor a local team with yellow and black colours as in St David's flag. Philip Evan's fav drink is probably ginger beer and we have dubbed him patron saint of video games and ginger headed people... we will ask about all these topics if we get to meet in heaven. I have considered writing a… Continue

A rediscovery of the Reformation Martyrs

Tomorrow we take a trip to visit various places of significance in South Wales  for St. John Lloyd and St. Philip Evans two reformation martyrs gaoled and killed for using the Tridentine Latin Mass together on the 22nd July 1679. We will take our usual intentions plus the intentions of the Crusaders of the Immaculate Heart.

Please remember the priests and the relatives who are currently being persecuted for saying the TLM post Motu Proprio 2007.

Recollected Rosary

Some of the most recollected rosaries I have said were whilst reflecting on certain relevant artworks.

Annunciation: Fra Angelic 1395-1445, Galleria Debi Uffizi, Florence

Scripture Reading for Reflection:

Luke 4:26-38;

Is 7: 10-14;

united to fight against the world..

I love this quote from the mission page!

Saint Louis De Montfort Speaks

"Friends of the Cross, you are like crusaders united to fight against the world; not like Religious who retreat from the world lest they be overcome, but like brave and valiant warriors on the battle- field, who refuse to retreat or even yield an inch. Be brave and fight courageously.

You must be joined together in a close union of mind and heart, which is stronger and far…

St David Lewis - last martyr of Wales

Yesterday Monday 14th July, I went on another mini pilgrimage with my two lads and their friends. We took all the intentions of the previous pilgrimage last year plus the sale of our house if God wants that for us. Tomorrow 16th July is the feast of Our Lady of Carmel and the deadline for St Anthony to find our buyer.... it would be pure miracle because we have just swapped estate agents and the only advert for our house is a private one on Gumtree!

Tonight we have registered…
