After a conversation about homeschooling - the things I wish I’d said!

Homeschool them all, do not split your family. Do not not encourage socialising with non – Christians when they are young much less so when they are older… workplace will provide the chance to test their apologetics IF they need it.
Pray with them. Take up short voluntary devotions to model compassion for others ( pray for celebraties, neighbours, family etc)
Take on the big ones…  with long term devotions- perhaps add Richard Dawkins and Milo Y etc to your conversions list / rosary intentions – celebrate BIG time when a soul converts!!!
Pray for your priests’ ongoing fidelity to the Faith, Live the Liturgical year – go pray in your local cemetery in November – that plot that a Catholic is buried in this sacred ground! Go on local pilgrimages the U.K. is a prison island right now but it is saturated in the blood of martyrs – make the most of it!  Keep the BVM and St Joseph close. Eat together discuss religion AND politics! Show courage when needed .  Go to illegal Masses, it will stop you and your children from becoming “timid” it will encourage your rebellious teens to rebel against evil BUT teach them not to be rash , to practise prudence... we live in exceptional times , we will receive corresponding graces. Have faith in the good God - he is stunning when you give Him space to act inside YOUR life.

CUT OUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE UNDERMINED YOUR / YOUR SPOUSES POSITION AS HEAD OF YOUR FAMILY AND TEACHER OF THE FAITH. Yes painful as it is, that does include beloved aunties and uncles etc. They are poison to the soul.

Always pray for betrayers and converts; Be aware they are capable of falling as low again even when they are indebted to you.

Yours in Christ
