At the call of many faithful priests and even some Nigerians, the Society of St. Pius X, in his great African adventure, visit Nigeria since 1992, and will finally introduce this year a new priory in Enugu, in eastern countries.

The official opening of the Saint-Michel will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, in the presence of Father Alain-Marc Nely, 2nd Assistant General of the Society. Now, three priests are preparing for this new apostolate: Father Gregory Obih, which is already there, Father Arnold Trauner and Father Nicolas Bely (later Abbot), who make several trips from Africa South. Retreats are preached, the Holy Mass is celebrated, not only in Enugu, but also in Owerri, Aba, Asaba, Otukpo, Lagos, Accra, Ghana and even, and Cotonou in Benin.

For our Nigerian members:  are any of you near this?  (or not too far away?)

Yeah! That's where i stayed for one week when i went to the east,
it's a big house with about 3 pre-seminarians.

It's located in home of the catholics (east), so those of us easterners who live in the north would say it's far.
