Hi Carol,

A few years back we did what was called the Compass of Faith for the conversion (and protection) of each of our individual cities.  Each person who participated received 2 Miraculous Medals and 2 St. Benedict Medals which were to be buried in the furthest most part of the North, South, East and West of their cities or towns.  The Memorare was chosen as the prayer to be united to the burying of the Miraculous medals for the towns conversion and the prayer by Saint Gertrude honoring Saint Benedict was chosen as the prayer to be said united to the burying of the Saint Benedict Medals for the town's conversion.  So those praying these prayers have participated in the Compass of Faith and are united these prayers to that action.
