I just got a mailing from the Fatima Center saying that they've parted ways with the Servants of Jesus and Mary, who they say want to bring up controversial issues the will hurt what the Fatima Center is trying to do. What is this about, does anyone know? I've not been entirely comfortable with the the Fatima Center has taken since Fr. Gruner's death. Can't put my finger on anything exactly, it's more impressions and very subjective. For example, they seem to be going after money more aggressively, and some of their soliciting donations in exchange for sacramentals seems to me to border on selling sacramentals, with specific "donation" amounts being required. Anyway, they're now asking everybody to stop making out checks to the Servants of Jesus and Mary, and make them out to the Fatima Center instead.

I keep wondering if the Servants of Jesus and Mary are putting 2 and 2 together and pointing at the Great Apostasy happening right under our noses, outraging those who want to take a more conciliatory attitude, not rocking the boat. Or is my imagination working overtime?

Who are the Servants of Jesus and Mary and what is their history with the F. C. ?  My apologies I'm not familiar with them.

I don't know what their history is, but when Fr. Gruner was alive, and since then up until now, if you wanted to make a donation in the US to support Fr. Gruner's work, checks had to be made out to the Servants of Jesus and Mary.

I'm reading the same  thing--be glad to find out more!

Here is a post on Louie V's blog, from Cornelia Ferreira, explaining things from her side of it.

I don't know what to think any more........I got the same mailing that David did and have been concerned for the past 6 months to a year with them.  Esp with the new fella running the show.

Thank you Cathleen. You've confirmed what I suspected.

Someone told me Father Kramer was uninvited to speak as well as Louie V.  Not looking good so far for the center.  :(

And all this is happening on the 100th anniversary of Fatima. That's got to be significant somehow.

The attacks on the Faithful and on True Catholic Institutions are increasing, evil is increasing

with intensity.  This is a Month of Sorrows, Our Blessed Mother is Sorrowing for Her Children.

She is Suffering for us and we must join Her this Month and offer our sufferings

for the Conversion of Sinners. Pray for those who are in danger of Death, and those who will

Die.   Praying with Love always!

With a 'prince'' who offends our Lady, there's no wonder ...

Here is why Fr. Kramer was 86ed from the Fatima Center:

Read article here.

This article (link here) sheds more light on what Fr. Gruner was thinking just before his death. Clearly the Fatima Center has decided to change direction, and drastically at that.

I found this paragraph particularly intersting:

During one of the occasions in which John Vennari told me about this new view of Fr. Gruner on the claims of Francis, he also told me about Fr. Gruner's plans for the future of his organization. John had just found out about these plans and was not at all happy about these plans. According to John, who told me this almost exactly 2 years ago, Fr. Gruner had kept these plans from him, since he knew that John would not approve. Apparently Fr. Gruner had wanted Andrew Cesanek to be his successor, but only after Andy had gone over to Ireland to be trained as a priest by Fr. Paul Kramer and then ordained by Bishop Richard Williamson. John thought that this would be a disaster for the Fatima Center. There is no doubt however that John understood this to be Fr. Gruner's plan. The entire story totally surprised me since I had no idea that this was the case.
