Against the evidence there is little to argue. The outstretched hand of Pope Bergoglio to the Society of St. Pius X is the same which has recently dealt blows to the Order of Malta and the Franciscans of the Immaculate.

The story of the Order of Malta ended with the unconditional surrender of the Grand Master and the return of power to Albrecht von Boeselager along with the powerful German group he represents.
The story was summarized in these terms by Riccardo Cascioli of La Nuova Bussola quotidiana: “the one responsible for the moral drift of the Order has been reinstated and he who tried to stop it was sent home”.
This happened in full disregard for the sovereignty of the Order, as is clear from the letter of January 25, addressed to the members of the Sovereign Council by the Secretary of State Pietro Parolin on behalf of the Holy Father, through which the Holy See has in fact placed the Order into commission.
It would be logical that the more than 100 States that maintain diplomatic relations with the Order of Malta would now withdraw their ambassadors, since, from the moment of the papal intervention, relations can be held directly with the Vatican, for which the order now depends on everything.
The contempt which Pope Francis shows towards the Law extends to the international law as well as the Italian civil law.
A decree issued by the Congregation for Religious with the consent of the Pope requires Father Stefano Maria Manelli, superior of the Franciscans of the Immaculate, not to communicate with the media, nor appear in public; not to participate in any initiative or meetings of any kind; and above all "to return, within the limit of 15 days from delivery of this decree, the economic assets managed by civil associations and any other sum that is at his disposal to the full availability of the individual institutes", that is, to donate to the Congregation for Religious assets of which, as was confirmed by the Court of Review of Avellino, Father Manelli does not have, because they belong to associations legally recognized by the Italian State.
"In 2017, in the Church of Mercy," says Marco Tosatti, "the only thing missing here is the strappado (or the cord), and the iron mask, and the list is complete (referring to instruments of torture)”.
What's more, Abp. Ramon C. Arguelles, Archbishop of Lipa in the Philippines, came to know of his resignation from a statement by the Vatican press office.
The reasons for the decision is ignored but one can figure it out: Abp. Arguelles has canonically recognized an association that gathered a group of ex-seminarians of the Franciscans of the Immaculate, who left the religious institute after the intervention in order to study and prepare for the priesthood in full freedom and independence. That however is a sin and one that is considered unforgivable.
Hence the question arises whether Pope Francis is not a violent Pope, intending here the true sense of this term. Violence is not an exercise of cruel force, but rather the force that is being used in an unlawful manner, in defiance of the law, to achieve ones goal.
The wish of Bp. Bernard Fellay to regularize the canonical position of the Society of St. Pius X with an agreement that nothing will undermine the identity of his institute is certainly commendable, but the question arises: Is it opportune to be placed under the legal umbrella of Rome in the very moment when the law is being ignored, or worse yet, being used as a means to crack down on those who want to remain faithful to Catholic faith and morals?

Wakey, wakey all those who are sleeping through this mass apostasy and the suicide of the SSPX insofar as they actively seek unity with Rome, wishing to come under Rome's authority, wishing to hand the keys of the SSPX to the very enemies wishing only its destruction.  Insanity, total insanity.

YOU CAN NOT RECONCILE WITH ROME UNTIL RUSSIA IS CONSECRATED, DOING SO BEFORE HAND WILL BE LETHAL.

Why is this so difficult to understand?

They mystery of iniquity is mind boggling.

No, and not as long as Rome does not do away with VCII innovations.

"There Are None So Blind As Those Who Will Not See." (attributed to John Heywood)

Jeremias 5:21-22 Hear, O foolish people, and without understanding: who have eyes, and see not: and ears, and hear not. Will not you then fear me, saith the Lord: and will you not repent at my presence?

People are waking up to Francis all over the place, and in the places I would not have guessed not so long ago while at the same time the very ones who held the torch of Tradition (sspx) are now the ones seeking to put it out.  Sigh...

I heard that Francis is looking to change the new mass even more.  It already only vaguely resembles Catholic, when he gets done with it, it will be completely unrecognizable.

The abomination of desolation in the high places, as my friend so rightly reminded me is here.

Dawn, it is impossible for the Church to teach evil. If this is true, and if the desolation has hit the high places, there are some pretty uncomfortable conclusions that must be reached.

The Church does not teach evil, those who are presently occupying high places however do.  Besides Bill, we are talking the concilar church.  Not one of these men ever spoke ex cathedra.  the Holy Ghost would never allow it.

Amen Bill!

Dawn, they're teaching it. It matters not that it's ex cathedral or not. They're teaching it. And they're disciplining those who are questioning it. Uncomfortable conclusions must be reached. Like snowflakes many souls are falling into hell because of their actions.

Rorate Caeli: It is More Likely Than Not That Francis is a Formal Heretic

All sorts of rumors are now swirling about current events in the Church:

  • Cardinal Burke has been cancelling engagements. Why?
  • Cardinal Muller has resigned from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Was he forced or was it voluntary?
  • A formal correction of the Pope has already been made in private and is about to become public.
  • The Pope and his allies are intending to radically revamp the Novus Ordo Mass to make it even more amenable to Protestants and others.

And these come against the background of significant public events and incidents:

  • The official and public endorsement of a heretical understanding of communion by various groups of bishops in Argentina, Malta and now Germany, based (they claim) on the Pope's recent apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia. The Pope has either confirmed their endorsements or maintained a favorable-seeming silence.
  • The "annexation" of the Sovereign Order of Malta by the Vatican.
  • The overnight appearance in Rome of posters critical of a sitting pope - something not seen since the era of the Papal States.
  • A parody "attack" on the pope sent via email to Vatican officials.
  • A seemingly coordinated attack on Cardinal Burke - now the Pope's most identifiable "opponent" - accusing him of being a right-wing extremist in league with the Trump administration and neo-Fascist Italian politicians. The attack has involved Pope Francis himself and various Vatican allies but has also bled over into the American secular press.

A friend reminded me of this motto:

Motus in fine velocior
Motion accelerates when the end is near
But what is the "end" in this case?

The unprecedented (in modern times) suppression of four (or more) cardinals and thus a tightening of the grip of the Church of Mercy?

Open schism?

Or is it that the "end" will include the removal of a pope?

As unthinkable as the last possibility may seem, more and more people, many inside the Church hierarchy and bureaucracy, are now privately talking about it. Even if it is mere wishful thinking, this has enormous significance.

Today, Rorate Caeli, one of the leading traditionalist Catholic websites, published a long essay by Canadian-born philosopher John R.T. Lamont, addressing certain questions surrounding the meaning of "formal correction." While the positions taken in he article were not explicitly endorsed by the site, the post was not preceded by any disclaimers either, unlike other "controversial" articles they have published.

Among other things, Lamont claims:

In the light of the fact that Pope Francis has openly endorsed heretical understandings of Amoris laetitia in his letter to the bishops of the Buenos Aires region of Sept. 5th 2016, it is more likely than not that he is in fact a formal heretic.

Why then have so few cardinals and bishops publicly lined up with the four "dubia cardinals" on this? Lamont argues that much of the reason stems from an absolutist understanding of "obedience," with roots in the philosophy of St. Ignatius Loyola and other 16th and 17th century Jesuits. But this understanding is erroneous and dangerous:

The question of how anyone, even a cardinal, can correct the Pope is an important one. It is a basic principle of the divinely established constitution of the Church that the Pope judges all other Catholics on earth and is judged by none of them. But this constitution does not establish the Pope as an autocrat with tyrannical authority, who is answerable to no-one. The Pope's authority is a legal one, and as with all legal authority it involves duties to his subjects as well as rights over them. The duty to confess the Catholic faith is a fundamental duty of the papal office. His subjects may thus formally request and even require him to carry out this duty. The right to make such a formal request belongs to any Catholic, but the cardinals, whose office is to advise the Pope, have a strict duty as well as a right to make this request. The cardinals who have failed to do this are guilty of a grave dereliction of duty. This failure is a catastrophe that threatens to lead to the disintegration of most of the Church.

It should be noted that the anonymous Rorate author who introduces the piece, strongly rejects the truth of the rumor that the Pope has already been formally corrected. However, he does not explain why he believes this.

We'll find out soon enough.

Judging from your response I believe I've completely misunderstood what you meant in the first post.
