FATHER JACQUES HAMEL (age 84) R.I.P.
Assistant pastor, he was a retired priest helping out in the parish at Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray. Ordained in 1958, he celebrated his golden jubilee in 2008. The pastor, Fr. Auguste Moanda-Phuati said that Father Hamel was very well known because he had been there for several years. [Source for details and photo: Normandie-actu.fr]

Mgr Dominique Lebrun, Archbishop of Rouen, is returning immediately from World Youth Day in Krakow in the wake of the terrorist attack that killed Father Jacques Hamel, one of his priests, this morning. From Krakow, he said:
.
"From Krakow, I have learned about the killings this morning in the Church of Saint-Etienne du Rouvray. There were three victims: the priest (84 yrs old) Fr Jacques Hamel and the two authors of the assassination. Three other people were injured – one of them very seriously. I call out to God, with all people of good will. I dare to invite non-believers to unite in this call! With the youth of the World Youth Days, we pray in the same manner as we prayed around the tomb of Father Popiełuszko in Warsaw – assassinated under the communist regime.
.
"The Vicar General, Fr Philippe Maheut arrived at the scene very soon after this incident. This evening I will be in my diocese around the families and the parish community who are all very shocked. The only weapons which the Catholic Church can take up are prayer and fraternity among peoples. I return home leaving hundreds of young people who are the future of humanity, the truth. I ask them not to give up in the face of violence but to become apostles of the civilization of love."

There have been a number of prophecies concerning France, the "eldest daughter" of the Church, which received special graces and yet was unfaithful. We all know the story of the Sacred Heart devotion and the French Revolution. There are others. I believe Marie Julie Jahenny or Anne Catherine Emmerich may have made some, about special chastisements that France will undergo. I believe the Great Monarch will eventually come from there too.

Here is an excerpt from an article I found  by Alexis Bugnolo about three Prophecies of Don Bosco:

"War will come from the south, peace from the north.

"The laws of France no longer recognize the Creator. The Creator will reveal Himself by visiting her three times with the scourge of His wrath. The first time He will destroy her pride by defeat, pillage, and destruction of crops, cattle, and men. On His second visit the great whore of Babylon, which the faithful grievingly call Europe's brothel, shall lose her leader and fall prey to chaos.

"Paris! Paris! Instead of fortifying yourself with the Lord's name, you surround yourself with houses of ill repute. You yourself shall destroy them; your idol, the Pantheon, will be razed to the ground, so that it may truthfully be said that 'iniquity has lied to itself.' [Ps. 26,12] Your enemies will plunge you into anguish, famine, terror, and the contempt for My law, says the Lord.

"On My third visit, you shall fall under the foreign yoke. From afar your enemies will see your palaces in flames, your home in ruins, soaked in the blood of your heroes who are no more."

There were 3 victims, huh , your excellency? The Priest and the others wounded, 1 grievously, those were the victims you're referring to, right?

B@t@rd p3d3! Pardon my French.
