Sometimes I think it is unfathomable Jesus' love for us.

God came down and had Himself tortured for us!

I remember the trauma to the body when my sister and I were in that bad car wreck in 1990.  I always wonder how Our Lord carried on under what can only be immeasurable shock and trauma to his being, not to mention the even greater trauma to his soul for all he was suffering interiorly for us sinners.  It blows my mind every time I think about it.

I tremble  at the pains we cause our beloved Lord with our sins.  the cross, the cross-the Redeemer will appear with the cross in the clouds of heaven to sit on judgment upon the good and the bad.  Lord have mercy on us all.
