Exactly...as usual Louie articulates it perfectly. Thank you Louie.
Edited to add---which is why we must pray for Cardinal Burke's FULL conversion. Praying the rosary the first of every month in his own crusade of rosaries is a perfect opportunity to do so :)
I believe that is why the Rosary is so important--to pray for those in leadership to have COURAGE--they have experienced what the "establishment" can do! Its up to the lay people to pray !pray!pray!
Even when Mr. Verrecchio makes valid points, it seems to me that he delights overmuch in slapping around whoever he's attacking. This is subjective on my part, and I may be mistaken. I may also be mistaken about what appears to me to be not infrequent detraction and presumption of the motives of others by Mr. Verrecchio.
God the Father spoke to St. Catherine of Siena about His priests. She recorded it in her Dialogue:
...[It] is my intention that they be held in due reverence, not for what they are in themselves, but for my sake, because of the authority I have given them. Therefore the virtuous must not lessen their reverence, even should these ministers fall short in virtue. And, as far as the virtues of my ministers are concerned, I have described them for you by setting them before you as stewards of... my Son's body and blood and of the other sacraments. This dignity belongs to all who are appointed as such stewards, to the bad as well as to the good.
...[Because] of their virtue and because of their sacramental dignity you ought to love them. And you ought to hate the sins of those who live evil lives. But you may not for all that set ourselves up as their judges; this is not my will because they are my Christ's, and you ought to love and reverence the authority I have given them.
You know well enough that if someone filthy or poorly dressed were to offer you a great treasure that would give you life, you would not disdain the bearer for love of the treasure, and the lord who had sent it, even though the bearer was ragged and filthy... You ought to despise and hate the ministers' sins and try to dress them in the clothes of charity and holy prayer and wash away their filth with your tears.
Indeed, I have appointed them and given them to you to be angels on earth and suns, as I have told you. When they are less than that you ought to pray for them. But you are not to judge them. Leave the judging to me, and I, because of your prayers and my own desire, will be merciful to them.
Maybe Louie is frustrated like so many are. If his tone sounds off that could be why, but the meat of what he is saying is completely true. That's my thought anyway...wrong or right, I don't know.
D could you remind me of this Rosary cruade on the first of the month please. :)

It is our obligation to pray, to do penance and to make acts of love and sacrifices for
Our Lords Priests. I leave it to Our Blessed Mother to distribute Her graces to whom
She will, where She will and how She will.
But judging actions taken or actions not taken by Priests is part of the Diabolical
Disorientation/Confusion. It is a very fine line there. And there is not one of us who
have not been effected by it. We need to take a stand and to fight but as always in
war the lines are at the best of times blurred.
So we should pray for forgiveness for ourselves and for Our Lords Priests because this is an
unprecedented occurrence in history.
And it is getting to be quite a bumpy ride.
I love you Adrienne :)

Yes; Card. Burke should get his T1shot; he's been getting the V2 vaccines far too long.
If one wants to be well, one must take only the True remedy alone, without mixing the familiar poison with it.
Key:
T1= Tradition ONLY
V2= self-explanatory
Yes, I fully agree, but I decided to do the rosary for his "crusade" on the first of every month in spite of it's shortcomings and praying only for his conversion and the consecration of Russia.

I think that his rosary intentions are laudable but he misses the crucial one : The consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary - this man is not a leader.
I'm sure he would say "Who am I to judge?" No, wait, that's for sodomy; those who are faithful to the eternal teachings of Holy Mother Church are obstinate rebels and idolaters and are guilty of "divination."

Thanks! I do need pulling me back on the charitable track every now and then.... I wonder if Pope Francis is still handing out humble bundles?
I love the way Louie V. states his case. I think he is absolutely on target and not disrespectful at all. His analytical commentary is so good to hear. Poor Cardinal Burke may wake up one day and see the truth about the crisis in the Church and act upon that truth. Maybe Louie will be the one to wake him up. Lord help us all.
