April 29: It is my sad duty to announce the sudden death of Father Nicholas Gruner
He died suddenly late today of a heart attack while working at his Fatima Center office.
At the moment, I do not know more than this. Please re-visit our page for updates.
And please remember Father Gruner in your prayers, a good friend and a true Catholic Crusader.

I remember when I received and read that newsletter above - it shook me to my core.Fr. Kramer's sobering words have had the same effect.

Still Father Kramer's words remind me of a story one of the sspx priests told some years ago which happened in the Phillipines.

He said that many years ago ( I forget the exact number of years but it was something like 70 or 80) a priest was offering Mass on a Sunday and it was in a fishing village there.  It was interrupted by someone saying that there was a lot of fish to be had that day and the fisherman at the Mass left to get their share.

The priest was justifiably angry and went out to where they were fishing and cursed the waters and from that time on for the next 70 or 80 years there was no fish to be had at that spot.

Then one day some 8 or 10 years ago one of the sspx priests wanted the men of that village to go on an Ignatian Retreat.  He knew about the curse and told them that if they went on retreat he would lift the curse.

They went, he lifted the curse, blessed the waters and the fish came back.

For some reason Father Kramers words bring me to mind of the first priest who cursed the waters.  A fear and trembling statement for those whom he addresses.  May they all find the Lord and do His will+ And may we do penance for our sins and convert to Our Lord God with all our hearts+

Here are my thoughts about the possibility of a 2015 date for the (physical) Chastisement.

First of all, we know about what happened in France. On June 17, 1689, Jesus manifested to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque His command to the King of France that the King was to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart. No king for 100 years obeyed, and 100 years to the day later, on June 17, 1789, Louis XVI, the then-King of France, was deposed by the French revolution, and subsequently executed.

During the summer of 1915, and possibly as early as 1914, the first apparition of the angel appeared to Sr. Lucia at the Cabeço of Aljustrel, but it did not speak and only appeared like a man in the sky covered by a sheet.

June 13, 1917, however, Our Lady told Sr. Lucia, "I shall come to ask for the Communions of reparation and for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart."

On June 13, 1929, 12 years later, Our Lady appeared to Sr. Lucia at a convent in Tuy, Spain and said, "The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. So numerous are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me, that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray."

In August of 1931 at Rianjo, Spain, in a chapel dedicated to Our Lady, Our Lord appeared and spoke to Sister Lucy as she was praying for the conversion of Spain, Portugal, Europe, Russia and the world. He dictated two prayers to her to pray often. They were "Sweet Heart of Mary, be the salvation of Russia, Spain, Portugal, Europe and the whole world" and "By Thy pure and Immaculate Conception, O Mary, obtain for me the conversion of Russia, Spain, Portugal, Europe and the whole world." He then went on to say “Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, like him, they will follow him into misfortune.”

My thoughts, just from looking at the facts in a very simple and straightforward way, is that the 100 years should be up at the latest on June 13, 2029, but possibly as soon as June 13, 2017. While the summer of 2015 seems not altogether out of the question, it seems to me, less likely than the other two dates.

And as long as I'm presenting my 2¢ worth, let me add that I am struck my the fact that the two sets of apparitions here consist of one requesting a consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and one requesting a consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary — a parallel so striking that the 100 years to the day parallel should have been self-evident even without Our Lord's explicit warning at Rianjo.

It is particularly sad that the first time Our Lord asked the consecration of the King of France, who didn't obey, but then the second time Our Lady asked the consecration of Christ's Sweet Vicar and bishops, who only responded in part.

My 2 cents lol

So here's the thing, the well deserved chastisement(s) have already begun

if we look at the current goings on around the world. We have been getting

clunked for some time now only on a minute level. And still we as a whole

are not listening.

Your dates are spot on David, but.....

Our Lord deals with those who offend Him and who commit

more heinous atrocities much more harshly and rightly so. So, we are

going to get clunked probably sooner than other countries. Sooo, 8 Months

from now is just around the corner, we must STORM HEAVEN with our Rosaries,

sacrifices, acts of Love. Please remember this is just mho.

My husband says to me "I am not sure if your cup is half full or

half empty lol.

The one thing that struck me about Fr. Amorth saying that things are going to get very bad this October is that it coincides with that awful "Sin-od" on the Family that they are going to have then.  Our Dear Lord is not mocked, and He is surely not going to hide His displeasure if they try to foist bad doctrine on the Church.  Here in the U.S. it seems to be going downhill at a rapid clip, esp. with the homosexual movement, a sin just begging Heaven to be punished.  :-(

I keep reading of earthquakes happening all over the world, beyond the bad one in Nepal.  Volcanoes and other seismic events.  Surely these are all little warning signs.

I don't know.  Our Dear Lord did tell us to "watch and pray."

May He reward His faithful servant, +Fr. Gruner for trying so hard to warn us all.  Personally I think he died of a broken heart.

It was in the news about a week or two ago. The article said that a large reservoir of magma was discovered when scientists started using some new technique for analyzing quake data in the area, or something like that. I don't remember the details. I do remember that they also said that the percentage of molten lava in the reservoir was very low, most of its contents being solid, likewise in the upper reservoir that they already knew about, and that therefore there was nothing to worry about, despite sensationalistic claims of a possible "supervolcano" eruption. THAT's the part that sounded fishy to me.
