Cardinal Dolan says "Bravo!" to
Football Star “coming out” as Homosexual
From J Vennari
With the ascension of Papa Bergoglio and his reckless approach to the Faith, I’ve been saying the Church is now in a free fall.
But with the following report, I think we may have hit rock bottom.
For a Cardinal, a so-called “prince of the Church” to be so thoroughly bereft of Catholic moral teaching, to be unable to make distinctions that could be made by any well-trained seminarian, to give the homosexual lobby such encouragement, I don’t know that it is possible to sink any lower.
All of this, of course, is built on Pope Francis' ludicrous “Who am I to judge?" statement regarding homosexuals, which, as Rorate Caeli observed, now “makes a triumphant entry in the American subset of the College of Cardinals.” The following is from an interview of Cardinal Dolan from this morning’s NBC’s Meet the Press:
Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York praised University of Missouri football star Michael Sam for coming out as gay, saying he would not judge the athlete for his sexual orientation. "Good for him," Dolan said in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" airing Sunday.
"I would have no sense of judgment on him," Dolan continued. "God bless ya. I don't think, look, the same Bible that tells us, that teaches us well about the virtues of chastity and the virtue of fidelity and marriage also tells us not to judge people. So I would say, 'Bravo.'" [Source]

Mr. Vennari states that he does not know if by Cardinal Dolan's actions that he can sink any lower. I am afraid we may find out. This drive for acceptance by the secular world will lead to further errors as one prelate tries to outdo the other to try and gain favor.
