My other thought:  why is it that the schismatic Russian "patriarch" sees things so clearly with modern feminism and is not afraid to speak up, while all we hear here in the West are crickets chirping..... ?

That's a really good question. I don't know. We keep praying for the conversion of Russia, but sometimes it seems like they are way ahead of us. :(

I think it would be nice if Pope Francis said Mass for the boy. (Mass of Angels or Requiem?) But I won't hold my breath. Besides, Obama would show up to use the publicity.
