This past Sunday, my son Eric was in a car accident. Thank God he wasn't hurt nor was the other driver, but the car was "totaled." He was driving his older brother's car, and carelessly pulled out in front of another driver in a four-way intersection on country roads.
When that brother first got this old car almost 5 years ago, I had sewn a large St. Benedict medal to the driver's side visor to ask the good saint to watch over him.
Yesterday I went to the garage to get the license plates and clean any other "stuff" left in the car, and there was the St. Benedict medal hanging down from the visor. You can bet that I took that home too - the thread snapped off easily in my hand.
I am posting this story in thanksgiving to St. Benedict and so others can be encouraged to pray to him. I know Eric's angel probably "had a hand" in things as well, as I pray to all of my children's guardian angels every day. But I really feel, especially after seeing that medal, that St. Benedict helped too.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you, St. Benedict. Please pray for us all.

Thank you for sharing. Yes, this is a great reminder that we should always entrust everything to God thru the intercession of His Angels and Saints.
Mother Mary, Saint Benedict and all the Saints, pray for us.
Holy Angels, watch over us. Amen.
