Daily Devotions to St. Joseph - Day 31

Great indeed will be the comfort of those, who, at the hour of death, will be protected by St. Joseph.  For this great saint has received from God power to command the devils and to drive them away, lest they tempt his servants in their dying moments.  Happy is the soul who shall be assisted by this great advocate, who, on account of having died with the assistance of Jesus and Mary, and because of having preserved the Infant Jesus from the danger of death by his flight into Egypt, has received the privilege of being the patron of a good death, and of delivering his clients from the danger of eternal death. 

St. Joseph, defend me from the attacks of the devils at the last moments of my life.

St. Joseph, you listened to the Angel and led the Blessed Mother and Jesus to safety, lead us and keep us safe on this unpleasant and difficult path of staying true to our Catholic Faith, as the saints did when they were tested. 

 St. Joseph inflame our family with the Love of Jesus  and Mary every day of our life. I ask  the grace to imitate your virtues St. Joseph so I may be pleasing to the Heart of God.

Consecration to St. Joseph

O MY BELOVED Saint Joseph, adopt me as thy child, take care of my salvation, watch over me day and night, preserve me from the occasion of sin, obtain for me purity of soul and body!  Through thy intercession with Jesus grant me a spirit of sacrifice, of humility and self-denial, a burning love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and a sweet tender love for Mary, my Mother.  Saint Joseph, be with me living, be with me dying, and obtain for me a favorable judgement from Jesus, my merciful Savior.   Amen

Saint Joseph, obtain for me the grace to bear my sufferings patiently for the love of Jesus and Mary and to  believe in the love of Jesus and Mary. St. Joseph, make me love Jesus and  Mary with all my heart.
