This septena consists of 7 septems of the Rosary each day for 21 days in petition; then immediately, 7 septems each day for 21 days in thanksgiving, whether or not the request has been granted.  Our Lady will substitute another and doubtless better favor.

This septena is one of love and compassion for Our Blessed Mother.  Look upon each septem as part of a garland which you weave to present to Mary our Sorrowful Mother, the Queen of Martyrs.

Thanks Cathleen.  I'm still putting it altogether but I'm hoping to have the final product ready for Lent.  I was hoping (if we can squeeze it in) that maybe we could make it an event.  I'll leave that decision up to you.

I'm not familiar with the convent however I'm not surprised to hear of their straying, so many have gone that way, very sad.   Thankfully this prayer is very old and escaped the novus ordo odor :o

Sadly that convent and order, like so many others, has strayed Very Far away from their original mission and founders.  Their website is awful.
