Since January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus, the Crusaders would like to do a month-long prayer event, in reparation to Our Lord's Holy Name which is so abused in our time. Please say the following hymn once a day for a month. This hymn has a plenary indulgence attached to it, which we can gain for ourselves or for the Holy Souls.
Jesus, the very thought of Thee
with sweetness fills the breast!
Yet, sweeter far Thy face to see
and in Thy presence rest.
No voice can sing, no heart can frame,
Nor can the memory find
A sweeter sound than Jesus' name,
the Savior of mankind.
O Hope of every contrite heart!
O Joy of all the meek!
To those who fall, how kind Thou art!
How good to those who seek!
But what to those who find - ah, this
Nor tongue nor pen can show
the love of Jesus, what it is
None but His loved ones know.
Jesus, our only hope be Thou
As Thou our prize shall be
In Thee be all our glory now
and through Eternity. +Amen

You are quite welcome. I forgot about that horrible play. I was thinking of the daily small ways in which so many abuse Our Lord's Holy Name -- sadly even children, mostly because they aren't taught better or sadly that is all they hear. I think Our Lady mourned at LaSalette at how misused Our Lord's Name was back then....... :-o :-(
Anyway, I am glad to do this.
May God be pleased with our efforts here.
I'll be there with bells on:)
This is a good way to make reparation to Our Poor Lord who is so abused and defamed by so many. What especially comes to mind but is not limited to, the horrifying Golgatha picnic play sponsored by the French government.
In our own small way perhaps this will soothe the Heart of Our Lord for so many blasphemy's. At least I hope so anyway.
Thank you so much for doing this Cathleen.
