Fr. Daniel Joly, a French priest of the Society of St. Pius X recently passed away. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 29, 1988 by Archbishop Lefebvre, and became perpetually engaged in the SSPX in 1993 on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
Father was 54 years old and had been preparing these past few years a French-language daily missal (1962) which will be printed next October by our French publishing house, Clovis. Previously he had published a 656-page spiritual treatise entitled, La messe expliquee aux fideles (The Mass Explained to the Faithful).
Fr. Joly was buried at Cure d'Ars Seminary in Flavigny, France on September 3, the Feast of St. Pius X. The Requiem was offered by the Superior General, Bishop Fellay and the USA District Superior, Fr. Arnaud Rostand, was in attendance.
Please keep Fr. Joly in your prayers: RIP. 9-4-2012

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
