Septena of Our Lady of Sorrows-THE FOURTH DOLOR

This septena consists of 7 septems of the Rosary each day for 21 days in petition; then immediately, 7 septems each day for 21 days in thanksgiving, whether or not the request has been granted.  Our Lady will substitute another and doubtless better favor.

This septena is one of love and compassion for Our Blessed Mother.  Look upon each septem as part of a garland which you weave to present to Mary our Sorrowful Mother, the Queen of Martyrs.

I weave these blood red roses with my petition for the virtues of love and courage and offer this chaplet to thee, sweet Mother.
