According to St. John Damascene, "God gave St. Joseph the love, the care and the authority of a father over Jesus.  He gave him the affection of a father that he might guard Him with great love; the solicitude of a father that he might watch over Him with great care; and the authority of a father that he might feel sure that he would be obeyed in all that he arranged concerning this Son."

St. Joseph, be always a father to us, and grant that we may always be thy faithful children.

St. Joseph, by the obedience which Jesus rendered to thee, make me always and my family  obedient to the will of God. St. Joseph inflame myself and my  family with your Love along with  the Love of Jesus and Mary .

St. Joseph, give myself  and my family the greatest confidence in thy powerful intercession.

St. Joseph ,pray for the Holy Father, that whatever shackles bind him from consecrating Russia may be broken and the consecration accomplished. For the conversion of Rome; for the conversion of the Pope and the conversion of all poor sinners. 

 St. Joseph, grant myself and my family peace and resignation to God's will at the hour of our  death and the Apostolic Pardon Prayer blessing will be given to me and our family at our death.† Blessed and exalted be the Precious Blood of Jesus and the Sorrowful and  Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with love and reparation.
