Dear Mother Mary,

Mother of mercy,refuge of sinners,comforter of the afflicted..You conceived your only son by the power of the Holy Spirit.You became a living tabernacle that kept,nourished ,protected and harbored the second person of the Divine Trinity..You nourished and nurtured God himself who  was ,is and will always remain your Son.

You protected your Son ,Jesus from so many harms including the harm Herod wanted to inflict…

“DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU”.

This is instruction was given by  the blessed virgin Mary to the disciples of Christ at the wedding at Cana. In  my daily bible readings,i have come across this instruction severally but when i was reflecting on this on sunday,I marvelled at such a faith.It seems I was reading it the first time

Jesus said to his disciples...I am sending you out like lambs in the midst of wolves(luke 10:3).....A lion gives birth to a lion...A wolves gives birth a wolves etc...We are God's children,from the tribe of the lion of Judah.Judging from the human perspective,as sons and daughters from the lineage of the lion,we should be lions and lionesses ...Looking at this  from human but myopic point of view Christ should have sent his disciples out as LIONS IN THE MIDST…
