After the Feastday Mass of St Thomas the Apostle, Fr Stehlin gave the faithful an update on the status of the Knights of the Immaculata in the SSPX Asia District. The Philippines has over 2000 enrollments, India has about 600, while Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and China account for about 400. The city of Chennai in south eastern India was severely affected by floods recently with some areas several feet under water.
IHM Crusader Bosco lives in that city but I have not heard from him and I hope that he is OK. The SSPX has a Mass center there and I just heard from the co-ordinator that he was spared the worst but slipped in the muck and fractured his right-hand wrist. He is a widower in his seventies and is living alone.

Authority comes from God no matter how it has been put in place... Democracy is not the ultimate good / the authority comes from God not the people.
Council teaching heresy - what remedy? Perhaps Vatican II should be totally condemned (because of the error and the spirit) then if there are one or two truths uttered then they should be brought out as a separate document in due course...
