I just saw the comment you left awhile ago on the "Prayers for All Souls Day" thread, asking about +Fr. Gruner possibly suffering in Purgatory, etc. He was a dear priest after Our Lady's heart and totally dedicated to her. I don't know the exact state of his soul, but was always taught to pray for those who had died, esp. in the past year, on All Souls Day; that is why I included his name for these prayers. If he is in Purgatory, he will hopefully benefit from my poor prayers on his behalf. If he is already in Heaven, then Our Lady will surely use any good from my prayers on behalf of another soul who can use them. No prayers are ever unheard nor do they go to waste. Same with +Fr. Timothy Hopkins, another truly remarkable and holy priest. He was very dedicated to the Holy Souls and passed away under unclear circumstances on their feast day (he had many enemies) I benefited greatly from his newsletters for many years, and still miss him terribly. The very least I can do is remember him in my poor prayers. I hope this answers your question / comment. Wishing you a very blessed Advent and a joyous Christmas.
