St. Gabriel Possenti (1838 - 1862) was an Italian Passionist brother. He is known as St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows as that was his religious name. This novena is especially for our children and grandchildren, who face such temptation in today's world. St. Gabriel faced similar circumstances in the war torn Italy of his time.
