We need 6 members, all Crusaders are invited to join.

I organized a 5th Perpetual Rosary group but so far we only have 5 members who have asked to join.  The 5th group is Our Lady of Fatima  HERE

 

If you don't have a decade for the  Perpetual Rosary and would like one, please leave a comment in the comment box below.

Ya know Alley, Father Libietis used to say that in every parish there were only 1 or 2 people who did all the work while almost everyone else never did anything.  Why do I get the feeling if you lived closer to your parish you would be that person who did everything.....lol.

O.k. if we are short a soul to pray a decade it's yours :)

I don't understand how this works.  Do I pray my decade every day or just once every three days.  I would sign up, but I don't know what to do.   Lily  P.S. I would prefer a Sorrowful, but I guess it's up to the pickers.

Hi Lily,

You would say your assigned decade every single day for a year.  Currently there are 4 groups, each group is made up of 15 people.  Each person has one decade of a 15 decade rosary. 

When the day is done all 15 people have recited their decade and in total have recited the 15 Mysteries of the rosary.

According to Church rules, because we have set it up in this manner, in a group, the Church says our prayers are multiplied rather than divided.  It is the same as if you yourself had said the entire 15 Mysteries.

That goes the same for everyone in the group.  As this is the case, each group then, by Church standards will have said a total of  225 rosaries each day, all of which you receive the graces for simply for praying one of the decades.

I probably made it more confusing by adding all the extra info, but that's about the long and short of it.
