ROFL....... Peter Peter where are you.....We miss you, (whispering) especially Cathleen lol
It was Mr. and Mrs. Baxter's 25th wedding anniversary and everyone at the Crusader Condo Complex was there to help them celebrate....esp. me, as I helped myself to yet another piece of cake and a large handful of peanuts.
When asked what their secret was to long-lasting marriage, Peter modestly replied, "Well, we always take the time to go out to a restaurant two times a week. A long candle-light dinner, soft music and a long walk home."
"Yes," agreed Mrs. Baxter. "Peter goes on Tuesdays and I go on Fridays."
Science is such a wonderful thing, what with the new technology regarding fertility.
I was therefore not surprised when DM summoned me to the Crusader Court one fine rainy day. The meeting was to inform, not only myself but a few rather special friends of DM, that of a new Crusader infant being born any day now. The mother of this child was no other than, aah I will let you guess, but the mother to be is at least 65yrs old
Anyway the day came when Cath , oops almost, our 65yr old was a proud owner of the newest Crusader member. About two weeks after this we were all called together when DM organised a surprised visit for a few of us: Alley, Gloria, Alan and a new girl Elsa.
'May I see the new baby?' Alley asked wanting to be the first to cuddle him.
'Not yet,' Ca the old new mum replied 'I'll make coffee and we can sit for a while first.'
Thirty minutes had passed, DM asked, 'May I see the new baby?' more intrigued at what the baby would look like than to cuddle it.
'No, not yet, have some peanuts I have just finished boiling some on the stove' she said.
So we sat down and had a bowl of boiled soggy peanuts.
Gloria after licking her now empty bowl enquired 'May I see the baby now?'
And again the same answer, 'No, not yet.' was the reply.
Growing very impatient, Alan asked, 'Well, when can we see the baby?'
'When he cries!' she told us.
'When he cries?' Elsa exclaimed. 'Why do we have to wait until he cries?'
'BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I PUT HIM, O.K.?!’
Certainly has the mothers mouth, who says babies can't eat peanuts
You forgot to mention the new baby's name: PETER!!!! No wonder he likes peanuts!
Oh please. This is all so funny. Can't stop laughing.
My beautiful baby! At long last I've found you! My sweet little Peter! :-D
(Peter turns green and chokes on his peanuts!)
