Fatima's 'Third Secret' will soon be part of an exhibit
November 1, 2013. (Romereports.com) The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal, will soon have Sister Lucia's handwritten letter, where she describes the third secret Our Lady revealed back on June 1917. The exhibit, titled 'Secret and Revelation' will open to the public on November 30th.
Since 1957 the document has been stored at the Vatican, as part of the archives of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. It has only left those quarters twice before: Once, at the request of John Paul II after his 1981 assassination attempt and then in the year 2000, when Tarcisio Bertone, who at that point served as the secretary of the Congregation, met with Sister Lucia in Coimbra, Portugal to confirm that the document was in fact the original.
