Holy Mother the Church relies on the prayers of all Catholics for the good of the Church, and especially for the Holy Father and the Church of Rome in these days of grave disorder.
The Acts of the Apostles tell us that when Saint Peter, the first pope, was thrown into prison by Herod Agrippa, the Church did not cease in its prayers to God for him:
"Peter therefore was kept in prison. But prayer was made without ceasing by the Church unto God for him" Acts 12:5.
The Church finds herself in a state of great confusion. Many no longer know the traditional dogmas of the Faith. Souls are lost, and many including the Holy Father, have lost their way and have been seduced by errors long condemned by the Church. The Pope needs our prayers!
It is the hope of the Militia that enough Catholics might volunteer to pray the Rosary for the Pope's deliverance that the Rosary might be a perpetual one; thus the Church's prayer will never cease, as it did not for the first Pope when he was imprisoned.
