"THE DRAMA OF THE END TIMES", BY FR. EMMANUEL P. Circa 1883-1885

The pages that follow, written by Father Emmanuel, Prior of the Monastery of Mesnil-Saint-Loup, have one hundred years. He wrote in a newsletter from 1883 to 1885 are published in a volume in 1985.

The Reverend Father Emmanuel is a theologian, but his doctrine is oriented toward spiritual life. His soul burns with the desire to communicate the truth to souls, to bring them to God, to sanctify the manner of San Benito, who wanted to make their monks good Christians, ie disciples of Jesus Christ.

Reading these pages about the Church, excited, sit in them the breath of the Holy Spirit. Some, so are prophetic, when describing the Passion of the Church. The Reverend Father, surprising details about the religious indifference, which corresponds exactly to the ecumenical heresy of our time. What would have said had he lived in our time! By his writings encourages us to remain steadfast in her faith of the Church and to refuse the commitments that undermine its liturgy, doctrine and morals. The example of his liturgical apostolate in the Parish of Our Lady of Holy Hope of Mesnil-Saint-Loup is a testimony of his zeal and holiness.
