SSPX seminaries receive cassock, tonsure and minor orders

Three of the SSPX's five seminaries held ceremonies this week wherein some seminarians received the clerical habit of the cassock, while some were tonsured and received certain minor orders.

On February 1 at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Zaitzkofen, Germany, the first of the minor orders (porter and lector) were given to four seminarians and a Capuchin by Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais. The next day, seven seminarians received the cassock and four others were tonsured. see the Germany District website >

On February 2 at the Holy Cure of Ars Seminary in Flavigny, France, 17 seminarians received the cassock from the hands of Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta. see the France District website >
