ST. MARY'S, KS A new priest for the Society of St. Pius X, Fr. Daniel Chavarria, was ordained in St. Mary's, KS by Bishop Bernard Fellay on Saturday, February 4th. The ordination ceremony took place during a Pontifical Solemn Mass offered in the academy's Big Gym to accommodate the large group of faithful in attendance who came from throughout the Midwest. After the ceremonies, a pot luck banquet was held. The following day, Sunday, February 5, newly-ordained Fr. Chavarria offered his first Solemn Mass for his home parish.
