Please pray for the soul of my Dear Aunt Paula

My grandfather's baby sister. She was my great Aunt, only a few years older than my mom. Her youngest daughter and I remain good friends as well as cousins. Pray for her, who cared for Aunt Paula since Uncle Reggie's death so many years ago, and for her sister and brothers.

Aunt Paula was like another mother to me, and I loved her dearly. Sadly, fallen away from the Church, I implore God's Mercy. I prayed for Aunt Paula at every Mass. She was in her early 90's.

May perpetual light shine upon her, O Lord, and may the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in Peace.

Mary Immaculate, pray for us who have recourse to Thee.
St Philomena, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have Mercy on us.

She looked beautiful, absolutely as if she were only sleeping. My cousin told me that shortly before she died, when she was barely able to raise her head from the pillow, Abe suddenly sat up straight and with the sweetest expression on her face and brightest light in her eyes she reached out and slightly above her head, cooing 'ohhhhhhh. Ohhhhhhh". Let us hope that my dear sweet Philomena was there, accompanying Our Blessed Mother.

Thank you for your prayers. I'm sitting in JFK waiting for my trip home. It's been a long day, but I'm so happy I went.
