NAACP Threatens to Sue LifeNews, Black Pro-Life Leader

Dear LifeNews.com Readers,

They say that standing up for what's right sometimes comes at a cost.

For LifeNews.com and our good friend Ryan Bomberger, who knows how high that cost may be.

The NAACP has threatened to sue LifeNews.com and black pro-life leader Ryan Bomberger, a LifeNews blogger and the head of the Radiance Foundation, for a recent column that took the civil rights organization to task over its abortion position.

The NAACP is upset about a column Bomberger wrote at LifeNews titled, “NAACP: National Association for the Abortion of Colored People."

You see, we can't keep silent when it comes to the fact that the NAACP is not only a pro-abortion organization, but that it is in bed with Planned Parenthood, the nations biggest abortion business.

Following the piece, the NAACP sent LifeNews and Ryan a threatening letter claiming infringement on its name and logo. The letter accuses us of “trademark infringement” because Ryan's LifeNews piece dared to put a twist on the NAACP name -- showing how it supports abortion.

You see, the NAACP is much more concerned with its logo being shown next to an expose' of its pro-abortion views than it is with the fact that Ryan and LifeNews are highlighting how abortion is decimating the black community.

Nowhere in this letter -- which threatens a lawsuit against LifeNews and Ryan for using our First Amendment rights to tell the truth -- does the NAACP express any concerns about how abortion how destroyed a generation of black Americans.

The letter ignores how 60 percent of viable black pregnancies are aborted in New York City, the home of NARAL and Planned Parenthood. Statistics show that more black babies are aborted in New York City than are born alive: 1,489 black babies are aborted for every 1,000 born alive.

Instead, the NAACP uses intimidation tactics to try to make LifeNews shut up and try to prevent Ryan from sharing the truth.
