It must be pretty bad when Jews are asking:

I saw this posted on a friends timeline and it just struck me as...wow, how bad is it when the jews are complaining about Francis' uncatholic behaviour.
Weird...
It is extremely bad. The linked article is from 2014, but before that Pope Benedict XVI, the other of the "two popes," also took off his shoes and prayed toward Mecca in a mosque, and before him John Paul the Totally Awesome publicly kissed a copy of the Koran.
The scary part is that without sound priests offering Holy Masses pleasing to God, men are not offering God an acceptable sacrifice or appeasing His wrath, and coupled with the increase in sin everywhere...
Pope Benedict did not pray with the muslims toward mecca if memory serves me. He went but I don't believe he actually prayed with them. Am I recalling that wrong? It's been a while.
I hope you're right, DM. I'll have to go back and check the news stories. Of course, the media always gets stuff wrong, but they get some of it right. I'll let you know what I find.

ISTANBUL — Pope Benedict XVI, who spurred anger among Muslims just two months ago, stood Thursday in silent prayer, facing Mecca, alongside a Muslim prelate in one of the world's most important mosques.

From CNA (“Catholic” News Agency), Nov. 29, 2014:
During Pope Francis’ visit to Istanbul’s Blue Mosque, he paused for a moment of prayer alongside Ankara’s Grand Mufti – a moment of “interreligious dialogue” which mirrored that of his predecessor.
…
“(It was) a beautiful moment of interreligious dialogue, and it the exact same thing happened in 2006 with Pope Benedict, it was exactly the same.”
Fr. Lombardi offered his statement to the head of the Holy See Press Office association of journalists by telephone. The message was then relayed to the journalists present in the press center in Istanbul.

Video of Benedict in prayer in a mosque. It was silent prayer, and he was facing the same way (towards Mecca) as the muslims. According to multiple press reports he did take of his shoes, but he did not recite muslim prayers or use a “prayer rug.”

Even St. Peter denied Christ three times.
I stand corrected, thank you David.
Yes, even Peter denied Christ 3 times.
Hoping and praying for Benedict's complete conversion+
