Healthshares, the alternative to costly health insurance

Friends:

I would like to start a discussion on Healthshare Organizations.  They are much more affordable that health insurance and look especially attractive for large Catholic families.  I'm not a member but I have been researching two: Samaritan, geared towards Evangelicals, and Solidarity, a Catholic healthshare outfit.  They follow different models.  I suggest you do your own research.  I want here to bring attention to Crusaders of these health care alternatives and ask of anyone who is a member of either Samaritan or Solidarity, or any other health share organization, to comment on their experiences.
