Game of Chess

I loved playing chess as a child, but never thought strategically enough to be any good at it.  Are the SSPX priest postings any clue as to a long term game-plan?  What are the general opinions as to why Fr. Paul Morgan would be posted to an unknown chapel in Langley,  USA?
