Happy Feast Day of Saint Pius X Ma'am Dawn Marie and to all the Crusaders, also to the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) especially to the Superior General, Bishop Bernard Fellay, all the bishops, priests, brothers, sisters, seminarians, oblates and religious and to all the parishioners, supporters and faithful throughout the whole world. Our deepest gratitude to SSPX founder, His Excellency Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, also to the brave bishops who supported him, Bishop De Castro Mayer and Bishop Salvador Lazo.

St. Pius the Tenth

Aug. 9, 1903 to Aug. 20, 1914

Pope St. Pius X:

Born Giuseppi Sarto to poor parents in Italy, 1835, this Saint was the second of 10 children. He became a priest, a bishop, and in 1903, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church. Pope St. Pius X is especially known for his measures against the Modernist heresy, for encouraging frequent Holy Communion, and for lowering the age for First Holy Communion from 12 to 7. He died in 1914 and is the first Pope to be canonized since Pope St. Pius V was canonized in 1712.

Through the Intercession of Saint Pius X

O God, Who didst raise up Saint Pius X to be the chief Shepherd of Thy flock and especially endowed him with devotion to the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar and zeal for Thine eternal truths and a love of the priesthood and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, grant we beg of Thee, that we who venerate his memory on earth, may enjoy his powerful intercession in Heaven. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Let us pray.
O God, who, for the defence of the Catholic faith and the restoration of all things in Christ, didst fill Saint Pius, Supreme Pontiff, with heavenly wisdom and apostolic fearlessness, mercifully grant that, by following his teachings and examples, we may receive thine eternal recompence. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
