Archbishop Commented – I

Unhooked from the object, minds go very bad.
Church and Society have both gone mad.

For today’s Church authorities “there is no fixed truth, there is no dogma. Everything is evolving.” So said Archbishop Lefebvre (1905–1991) in 1991 (see last week’s “Eleison Comments”). For at the end of his life the Archbishop saw more clearly than ever what he had been up against in his heroic defence of the Faith. Since then the liberals (unknown to themselves as such?) who took over his Society of St Pius X as soon as he was gone, have still not understood the gravity of the problem as identified by the Archbishop. Therefore let these “Comments” open the New Year by attempting once more to lay open the mortal wound of today’s Church and world.

When Immanuel Kant (1724–1804) erected man’s refusal of God’s reality into a philosophical system, based on his utterly false proclamation that the human mind cannot know the object as it is in itself, then the philosophy department of universities all over the world began to spill craziness into the streets, because people wanted to make freedom their god and Kant offered them the supreme liberation, that of the mind from its object.

Now Catholics not yet contaminated by the Kantian fantasy know that God and his Heaven exist quite outside of, and independently of, their little minds, and so if they want to be happy for eternity their minds had better deal in objective reality and not in subjective fantasy. Therefore for a century and a half a God-given series of anti-liberal Popes stood up to the liberal world going constantly more crazy all around, and these protected the Church from the prestigious and popular subjectivism. But by the 1950’s the Church’s cardinals and bishops were not praying enough to maintain this protection of their minds and hearts from the madness, known within the Church as “modernism,” and so in the conclave of 1958 they elected one of their own, the supposedly “good” John XXIII, a li beral (unknown to himself as such? God knows), who duly launched in 1962 the disastrous Second Vatican Council.

Why disastrous? Because the madness of subjectivism (the refusal of objective reality), instead of being still utterly condemned by the Church’s highest authorities, was now adopted by them and made (consciously or unconsciously? – God knows) into the official basis of Church doctrine and action. The problem could not be graver. The officials of God’s true Church, appointed to proclaim and defend God’s objective truths of salvation, were henceforth filtering these through their subjectivist minds. Imagine having nothing other than filthy bottles in which to store the best of wine. It can only be ruined. Today’s Conciliar Church officials can only ruin God’s truth.

Here is why the Archbishop said in 1991, “We are dealing with people (at the top of the Church) who have a different philosophy from ours, a different way of seeing, who are influenced by all modern subjectivist philosophers. For them, there is no fixed truth, no fixed dogma. Everything is evolving. This is really the Masonic destruction of the Faith. Fortunately we (Traditionalists) have Tradition to lean on.”

But what has happened to Tradition without the Archbishop to guide it? Alas, the authorities at the top of his Society of St Pius X, which for some 40 years spearheaded the defence of the objective Faith, cannot have been praying seriously enough to protect their minds and hearts from being in turn infected by subjectivism. They too have lost the primacy of objective truth, and so they are being played by the Romans like a fish is played by a fisherman. Archbishop Lefebvre, pray for us!

MONSEÑOR DE GALARRETA "EXCOMULGA" A RELIGIOSA EN FRANCIA.-

El domingo 28 de diciembre, en la parroquia San Nicolás de Chardonnet, durante la misa, hacia el final del Credo, el Padre de la Rocque vino a buscarme y me pide seguirlo hasta la sacristía. Con el fin de evitar el escándalo, obedezco. Una vez en su oficina, él me explicó que Monseñor de Galarreta lo llamó por teléfono. Monseñor le confirmó (pues él ya lo sabía) que se me envió una carta el pasado 8 de septiembre, en donde se me informa mi expulsión de la Congregación de las Dominicas de Brignoles y, al salir de ella, el levantamiento de mis votos. Por consiguiente, debo dejar inmediatamente el hábito que llevo indebidamente.

Asimismo, el señor cura ha prevenido a todos sus vicarios de ya no darme en adelante la comunión. Monseñor de Galarreta podrá, eventualmente, reducirme al estado laical con votos privados. Yo objeté que, según nuestras propias constituciones, solamente el Papa puede desligarme de mis votos. Entonces el Padre de la Rocque se enoja, indignado: “Desde hace cuarenta años, los religiosos y las religiosas de la Tradición gozan de la jurisdicción de suplencia, pero cuando se tiene una discrepancia con sus superiores, ¡ya no se reconoce esta jurisdicción!” 

Entonces señalé mi voluntad de escribir a la Madre Generala. Y me entero que es a petición de ésta -que se quejó en Suresnes de la tolerancia del clero parisino respecto a mi persona- que a partir de ahora se me niega la comunión. El Padre de la Rocque agrega que, debido al estado de salud de mi madre, muy enferma y a la cual estoy cuidando desde hace un mes, tal medida podría matarla, por lo que se me tolerará todavía algunas semanas llevando el hábito, y que él podría darme la comunión en privado… con la condición de no hablar y pasar desapercibida. Le agradecí su solicitud, dejé la oficina y volví a mi lugar al final de la consagración. Más tarde, llevé a mi mamá a comulgar. Para mí, estoy excomulgada por la FSSPX.

...and so does the continued march to an unconverted Rome-

Una nueva serie de videos de preguntas y respuestas acaba de ser lanzada por la Neo-Fraternidad en Estados Unidos. 

El primer video formula y contesta las preguntas: ¿Qué es la FSSPX? ¿Cuándo fue fundada? y ¿Cuál es su espíritu? 

Al ver este video, nos damos cuenta que la Fraternidad se ha olvidado por completo del combate, conformándose con ser una simple comunidad “Ecclesia Dei” entre muchas otras. 

Por ejemplo, las siguientes frases: “El Apostolado (de la FSSPX) es hoy especialmente necesario, considerando la propagación del ateísmo, agnosticismo e indiferentismo religioso” (¿Y el modernismo, ecumenismo, liberalismo, y la crisis en la Iglesia?). “En medio de la creciente confusión, la FSSPX ofrece simplemente recordar a los fieles lo que la Iglesia ha hecho en el pasado” (¡¡¡¿simplemente recordar?!!).

¿La gente es demasiado tonta para leer, que necesitan un video blandengue que les diga lo que deben pensar?

El branding es bastante obvio, empezando por la pregunta simplista “¿Qué es la Fraternidad?” El fondo del video es blanco, como se esperaba. El presentador, con una voz alta muy bien elegida y una presencia no amenazadora, que parece tiene los dedos pegados con pegamento, despeja las dudas de la audiencia acerca de que la Fraternidad no es una figura amenazadora, sino una presencia gentil, con la intención de pedir al auditorio “confíen en mí”.

La Iglesia está literalmente siendo destruida ante nuestros ojos y ellos dan este patético mensaje. ¡Caramba! ¡Muestren indignación! Muestren que ya no pueden tolerar esta destrucción! Obispos danzantes, pelotas de playa en el altar, salvación para los ateos, ¿y este es el mensaje que dan? Si alguien viniera a atacar a tu hermana, ¿te pegarías los dedos con pegamento? Bien, pues el demonio viene por las almas de tus hermanas y la tuya también, y por esa razón, despega tus dedos y muestra tus puños al demonio.

El video nos hace preguntarnos a quién se destina. El mensaje transmitido es inservible para los que han apoyado a la FSSPX a través de los años. Ellos ya saben lo que fue la FSSPX y lo que es hoy. Ellos han leído los libros del Arzobispo y los tienen en sus bibliotecas junto a las revistas Angelus. ¿Está dirigido a la neo-iglesia? Definitivamente no, pues ellos están embebidos en blanda religión. Al parecer está dirigido a intereses monetarios y, más importante, a Roma, para disipar la gigante presencia de Monseñor Williamson y otros antiguos sacerdotes y laicos de la FSSPX ahora expulsados, que se adhieren a la Tradición sin compromisos, al contrario de Monseñor Fellay, que afirmó que el Vaticano II es 95% aceptable. O las 6 condiciones y la Declaración Doctrinal.
