Dear friends and benefactors of the Monastery of the Santa Cruz

Here the writer is your servant, Br. Pio X, Benedictine Monk of the Monastery of the Santa Cruz, who, with the proper permission and approval of his excellent Dom Thomas Aquinas, come through this, ask for a little of your attention.

Before entering the monastery, I attended a small group called: Group of St. Thomas Aquinas. This small group gave the Resistance a religious (who is the one who writes to you), a Catholic couple (who lives here near the monastery), a lady consecrated to God through the vow of chastity, and we still have other members who live at headquarters, with intent to contract marriage, IN ANAGÉ CITY IN BAHIA, Brazil.

This is an old group, it has existed since the middle of the year 2006. It is a group essentially of study, with prayer and apostolate. We prayed a third in the house of laymen, also in the houses we prayed the office of Our Lady sung, we visited sick people and wakes and, sometimes in the year, we collect food to give to the needy. WE ARE MAINLY ASSISTED BY THE REV. FR. JOAQUIM FBMV, who visits us from time to time.

Due to the lack of financial resources, the group does not have A CHAPEL or fixed place to gather, the Sunday meetings are held in the homes of the members themselves, and when there is a Mass, we have borrowed a hall for such. Because it is a group of the Catholic Tradition, we are regarded very evil in the city, we are slandered in the sermons of the progressive priests of the city.

With the help of Providence, we have obtained a donation of a land, now we are seeking to build A CHAPEL for our activities, holy masses and assistance to the sacraments, conferences and lectures, all aiming at the greater glory of God and the good of souls

Our project needs beginning, middle and end.

The beginning we already have ... the land (which has already been given to us) and the labor (which will be much cheaper, because it will be made with relatives of the members of the group)

The middle, which is the material for work, is what we do not have, the group does not have the financial resources to do so. Therefore, through this, if possible, we ask you if you can help us with any value for such a project.

The end ... (end of the work) is in the hands of God and in the heart of our good and tender Mother - the Virgin Mary.

All help and donations will be welcome. May God bless and reward you!

I'm passing along this info to anyone of the Crusaders who would be interested in helping. I am not involved in this at all I am just passing the info along for friends of Bishop Dom Thomas Aquinas who has approved this call for help by these dear souls.
