We present here some images from the Confirmations ceremony and the Pontifical Low Mass that followed at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, May 11.

58 confirmands (32 young men and 26 ladies) - half from St. Vincent's, with others coming from the Missouri chapels of Springfield and Mexico - knelt before Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais to receive the Holy Ghost and become Soldiers of Christ.

Assisting the bishop as chaplains were District Superior, Fr. Arnaud Rostand, and the prior, Fr. Jean Violette.

You can't see it because the Tabernacle Candle is in front of it (from the view of the photographer).  In the second picture look behind the the candle on the alter way above.
