Buried under all of the political intrigue, as well as under the rampant speculation of who will become the next Pope, is the reality that a significant prophecy is now being fulfilled. In the year 1973, on the conspicuous date of October 13 (the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima), the Blessed Virgin Mary told Sister Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa, in the often cited Church-approved apparitions of Our Lady of Akita (Japan), “The work of the devil will infiltrate even the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against other bishops.”

What is Zero Hour?

I'm not sure married or religious has anything to do with something being true or false.  Wasn't Maximin (Our Lady of La Salette) a non-religious?  And I'm not 100% sure but I think Juan Diego (Our Lady of Guadalupe) was also not called to the religious life.

Garabandol is not approved by the Church, but some priests and yes 1 bishop in the Society believe in it.  I don't believe in it at all,  it's too weird for words watching those kids walk backwards etc., it creeps me out.

For many Trads Mario, the declarations on apparitions, the approval of saints (like the approval of JPII for instance) are all in a suspended state from John the XXIII on because from that point to the present the Popes have not acted in good faith for those things which they have approved or disapproved.  Much of their motivations in their decision making have not been for the good of the Church but rather for the derailment of the same.

That's why some trads say, like Petrus, "the jury is still out" on this or that.

However Fatima is an approved message and one which can not be ignored.

I believe it was Our Lady Herself that told the girls at Garabandal not to enter the religious life

but to live good christian lives pleasing to God. (I am not quoting, it is what I understood from

research into the apparitions) 

I am sure the reasons are obvious now because of the state of the church. As to their authenticity

(if one can draw edification, it is private revelation) believing is a private affair.
