Angel of Akita speaks to Sr. Sasagawa again after 46-year silence

This is amazing! This news is a month old, and I only learned it today. The Angel of Akita spoke to now 88-year-old Sr. Sasagawa in the first locution she's received since 1973. She is the nun who received the messages of Our Lady of Akita.

Things appear to be heating up.

Here is some commentary on the locution:

Here is an update on the website that broke the story:

Thank you for posting.

Rosaries in Reparation and Penance are always a good idea!

I don't know for me this just doesn't set well.  Akita never really has and after this, even less.  Just my personal opinion nothing more.  Believe it or not I'm one of those who are hard pressed to believe these modern day "visions".  Garabandol is another that just.....I just can't get behind it, there is just something about it that seems not real.

I tend to stick with the tried and true and less modern ones like La Salette, Fatima of course, Our Lady of Good Success and others.

It is certainly not wrong to believe in the others as long as there is nothing against Faith and morals but my gut just won't let me on this one.  The nun doesn't help matters by being modernists and wearing regular clothing and belonging to the novus ordo etc.  Maybe that is it.

Nevertheless it should not take a visit to tell us we are on the brink of catastrophic chastisement.  The entire planet has become so evil I marvel each morning when I see that God has permitted yet another day to allow the sun rise on humanity.  He really is slow to anger.

Bishop Williamson once sent me a photograph of the wooden statue of Our Lady of Akita shedding tears. I have asked myself the question of why would Our Lady visit in locutions a Novus Ordo nun, and it occurred to me that rather than "preach to the choir," as it were, perhaps she was reaching out to the many millions of confused "boiled frog" Catholics.

Similarly, I've often heard traditional Catholics object to Eucharistic miracles involving Hosts confected at a Novus Ordo Missæ, but if you study the history of Eucharistic miracles, they almost always involve a miraculous response to some sort of desecration of the Blessed Sacrament. Of course, the NOM itself is an act of desecration in a very real sense, and yet one in which God has preserved some spark of spiritual life to prevent the complete defection of the Church, which we know He will never permit, and to help as much as possible, under the circumstances, those poor boiled frogs.

So I don't know.

Of course, there is no guarantee that it or any other post-VII apparition or locution is really what it appears to be, and even those "approved" by the pre-VII Church do not require belief according to Catholic doctrine; their messages have merely been determined to not contradict Church teaching and to not give any indication of demonic origin. Even Fatima falls into that category, but anyone who ignores it is a fool.

I agree 100% about the miracles of the Hosts in nordo churches precisely because the pattern I saw in all of them is there was desecration beforehand in each instance.  For that reason and because when the church investigated them there was found to be no human hands in it (of the ones they approved as such) I've never doubted their veracity.  It actually makes complete sense.

Now here is the thing with Fatima, I heard John Vennari give a talk explaining that Fatima is in fact not a private revelation but what I believe he called a public private revelation which put it on a level completely different from all others.  He said because of the miracle of the sun it changed everything in that people actually do not have a right to ignore it or dismiss it or not apply the message.

Please don't ask me for links or references etc because I can not remember where he said it but if it helps I think it was on a video.

As for Akita I don't know what to think about the messages from the 70's.  But this particular one from November of this year?....so many red flags going up for so many reasons.

You "feel" it's questionable, and I "feel" that the possible red flags may not be significant... this is one of the drawbacks to going by feelings! And yet, it's probably a mistake to ignore strong gut feelings.

Luckily, thinking the Akita locutions both then and/or now are real if they're not, or not real if they are, ultimately doesn't matter. Same thing with the Three Days of Darkness (which I've never been completely sold on) and various other apparent private revelations. (And I've heard the same argument you mentioned before about Fatima and the Miracle of the Sun putting it in an entirely different category from every other apparition in history.) The important thing to take away from them are the great likelihood of a divine chastisement in the not too distant future, and the dire importance of penance and reparations.

Agreed...Caveat though...I never mentioned "feelings" just red flags that are going off about this second so called message, and per the first the issue of the whole novus ordo modernism thing with the nun.  ;)

As for the fact that we can ignore these apparitions I get it, but if something is Our Lady or Our Lord why would anyone want to ignore it?  If Heaven makes the effort to reveal themselves and come here to do so it stands to reason what They have to say is important and worthy NOT to be ignored.

Case and point, Our Lady said to Sister Lucia""Father, the Blessed Virgin is very sad because no one heeds her message; neither the good nor the bad. The good continue on with their life of virtue and apostolate, but they do not unite their lives to the message of Fatima. Sinners keep following the road of evil because they do not see the terrible chastisement about to befall them."

So Our Lady laments here those who are ignoring her.  So for me I do think apparitions are important but also we must be careful of their veracity.

God has not abandoned his people, neither has His Most Holy Mother. Jesus is still the personable God as He always was

and always will be to each one of us until the end of time. "You think of me and I will think of you."

The messages of these latter times are different odd off because WE are different odd and off. And let me add

here that the Media, the Journalists religious and secular are biased and prejudiced have their own agenda. Which I might

add also is not Our Lord's agenda. If you think you have received all the facts of any modern-day apparition think again. Often times they want you to believe that there is something wrong with the seers something off

something that makes them not credible from past apparitions of Our Lady or Our Lord because it is impossible

for Jesus or Mary to come Now in Our Times. In these Advanced Technological Times - Without God!

That is what they want you to believe that Your God has abandoned you!
