I was flabbergasted to hear the claim that Abp. Viganò did not support doing the consecration of Russia as Our Lady asked at Tuy in 1929, so I did a little research and found the following quote from His Excellency: "“Let us not forget Our Lady’s unheeded appeal for the Pope and all the Bishops to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, as a condition for the defeat of Communism and atheistic materialism: consecrate not ‘the world,’ not ‘the nation which You want us to consecrate to You,’ but ‘Russia.’ Was it so costly to do that?” (https://catholicfamilynews.com/blog/2020/06/03/vigano-vindicates-tr...). He said it again in an interview with Michael Matt for The Remnant: If "something as terrible as covid-19 can also be an opportunity for us to grow in Faith and active Charity," so too can it become an opportunity for our shepherds to resolve to soften their hearts and realize they must not go on "offending the Majesty of God" and even disobeying His mother: "Our Lady of Fatima asked the Pope and all Bishops to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart," Archbishop Viganò recalls, and she "announced wars and disasters until this came about. Her calls have gone unheard. The Hierarchy must now reform and obey the Mother of God!" (https://remnantnewspaper.com/web/index.php/articles/item/4827-a-rem...) And in another interview: "Let us not forget, as I recalled recently: Our Lady of Fatima promised Sister Lucia that before the end of time a Pope would consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, and that this act of obedience would be followed by an era of peace. Let us therefore confidently place ourselves, our families and our dear Italy under the mantle of the Most Blessed Virgin, trusting in her words." He has also called for the release of the 3rd Secret: https://fatima.org/news-views/archbishop-vigano-on-the-third-secret...

Yes David this article is posted here on the Crusaders. It changes nothing.
This was all said in 2020. Since then things have changed with him. Why I don't know exactly. If you can find me anything whatsoever in which +Vigano mentions anything like this....even remotely, since the early spring of 2020 I will retract and delete my comments. As far as I know it is not out there. Since then +Vigano has refused any interview on the subject and refuses to even mention it directly or indirectly.
Edited: Please note the article you posted states that +Vigano has done a surprising 180 on Fatima and Vatii in a simple few months. I'm all for it. But if his transformation was true and sincere why the dead silence since then? Why the refusal (twice to my knowledge) to do any interview concerning Fatima? Why did he refuse, since then, to want to be associated with a certain individual's website (not me) which is all about working toward the consecration of Russia? Why since the time he said this in 2020 did he go absolutely silent? Like I said, if he speaks up for Our Lady I'll shut up. It is not sufficient to broach the subject one time and then walk away from it. All these prelates must stick with it and must certainly not choose to be silent. Everyone's neck is on the line. Yours, mine AND THEIRS.

Archbishop Viganò discusses the Great Reset, gives hope in light of Our Lady of Fatima
http://www.realitynewsmedia.com/news/featured-posts/archbishop-viga...
Excerpt:
“The failure to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,” Viganò explains, “led to the spread of Communism throughout the world; today we see Communism allied with the other sworn enemy of Christianity, Liberalism.” He continues by saying:
This infernal alliance is meant to lead to the establishment of the New Order and the advent of the Antichrist. But let’s not forget that Our Lady has said that, before the final persecution, the world will enjoy a period of peace. I think that the Great Reset and the Satanic project of the New Order under the Masonic Synarchy has not yet managed to impose itself, even if we have come very close to it.
But while we await Our Lady’s victory, Archbishop Viganò calls upon us to lead lives in accordance with Christ’s Kingship, admonishing us to “seek to make Christ reign above all in our hearts, and, as a result, in our families, so that he may also reign in our societies.”

We'll see. I have my reasons why I think what I do. Hopefully in the end I'm wrong but for now I have definite doubts about him.

Written by Jean Vaquié, a conterrevolutionary writer very close to Abp Lefebvre:
Yet on Sunday he aligned himself with "the great jpii addressing people at an anti vax passport protest.

Jean Vaquié misrepresents the Deus ex Machina dramatic function. It was never about producing an "inscrutable" effect. It was a cheap way to get the dramatist out of a jam when he'd painted himself into a corner. The situation seems impossible, when suddenly a "god" appears, having been raised by a hidden mechanism through an opening in the stage floor, and conveniently solves the problem with a wave of his hand. The concept is used in critical narrative analysis (novels, scripts, etc.) as a metaphor for a too facile resolution of a sticky problem.
I think you've chosen a very uncharitable way to present your concerns that borders on rash judgement and possibly calumny. It seems to me that you are making serious accusations with nothing but your "feelings" to go on.
Also, you are not honoring your promise to "If you can find me anything whatsoever in which +Vigano mentions anything like this....even remotely, since the early spring of 2020 I will retract and delete my comments."
There has been a groundswell of criticism of Abp. Viganò, but it may be coming from somewhere other than where you seem to think it's coming from.
