Dans la vie de monseigneur de Ségur, il est rapporté qu’il eut un jour connaissance d’une profanation du Saint-Sacrement commise par cinq jeunes gens. L’un d’entre eux était venu s’en confesser à lui. Le prélat lui donna comme pénitence de dire un Ave Maria et d’amener ses camarades à la contrition. Au jeune pénitent qui s’étonnait de la modicité de cette peine sacramentelle, le prélat répondit : « pour le surplus de l’expiation, je m’en charge. »

Ces mots ne restèrent pas des mots. Monseigneur de Ségur fit célébrer cinq mille messes pour offrir « au divin offensé la seule réparation égale à l’offense. » Et, à titre personnel, il s’astreignit jusqu’à la fin de sa vie à se relever chaque nuit pour une heure d’adoration dans une coule de pénitence qu’il s’était fait remettre par la Grande Trappe de Mortagne.

Cet exemple nous confond par l’esprit de Foi et d’Amour de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ qu’y manifeste ce grand prélat. Il nous presse, en ces douloureuses semaines à venir, de nous placer dans le même sillage.

-En réparation de la convocation de la célébration de la scandaleuse réunion interreligieuse d’Assise qui aura lieu le 27 octobre prochain et pour obtenir de Dieu que cette réunion n’ait pas lieu, le district de France fera célébrer mille messes.

-En réparation des 33 représentations blasphématoires contre la Passion de Notre Seigneur dont la programmation a été confirmée dans différentes villes de  France et pour obtenir de Dieu qu’elles n’aient pas lieu, le district de France fera célébrer 330  messes.

- En outre, chaque prieuré du district de France célébrera une messe publique de réparation et  chaque prêtre célébrera également une messe  de réparation. 

Nous invitons instamment tous les catholiques à entrer dans cet esprit d’expiation, de pénitence et de réparation de ces terribles péchés publics. Ce n’est certes pas la paix que la réunion d’Assise apportera au monde. Ce ne sont certes pas des bénédictions qui descendront  sur notre pauvre France s’il n’est personne pour demander pardon au Bon Dieu de ces abominations qui doivent se produire sur notre sol.

This is by far the most significant and most meaningful act of reparation I've seen in my lifetime!

 

If Rome sends up to Heaven the outrage of Assisi III these Masses of reparation will surely soothe the wounds inflicted upon Our dear Savior!

Our Lady of Fatima explained to the children that war is a punishment for sin and warned that God would further castigate the world for its disobedience to His Will by means of war, hunger and the persecution of the Church, the Holy Father and the Catholic Faithful. God's Mother prophesied that Russia would be God's chosen "instrument of chastisement," spreading the "errors" of atheism and materialism across the earth, fomenting wars, annihilating nations and persecuting the Faithful everywhere.

"If My requests are not granted, Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, raising up wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will suffer much and various nations will be annihilated."

In all Her appearances at Fatima, the Blessed Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the Rosary daily, of wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and of performing acts of reparation and sacrifice. To prevent the terrible chastisement at the hands of Russia and to convert "that poor nation", Our Lady requested the solemn public Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart by the Pope and all the Catholic bishops of the world. She also asked that the Faithful practice a new devotion of reparation on the first Saturday of five consecutive months ("the Five First Saturdays").


"Only I can help you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God."

 


Your Holiness declares that we should trust you in your desire to convene another Assisi. You assure that the effort on your part is to counter relativism and atheism.

If you truly wished to counter these chastisements doesn't the answer seem evident? Shouldn't you do as Our Lady asked?

I don't understand French, but when are they are offering the Masses so I know when to send my angel there?  Is it during the Assisi "debacle?" -- which I think is 27 octobre?---that much French I can understand!

Act of Reparation

        Sacred Heart of Jesus, animated with a desire to repair the outrages unceasingly offered to Thee, we prostrate before Thy throne of mercy, and in the name of all mankind, pledge our love and fidelity to Thee!
        The more Thy mysteries are blasphemed, the more firmly we shall believe them, O Sacred Heart of Jesus!
        The more impiety endeavors to extinguish our hopes of immortality, the more we shall trust in Thy Heart, sole hope of mankind! 
       The more hearts resist Thy Divine attractions, the more we shall love Thee, O infinitely amiable heart of Jesus!
       The more unbelief attacks Thy Divinity, the more humbly and profoundly we shall adore It, O Divine Heart of Jesus!
       The more Thy holy laws are transgressed and ignored, the more we shall delight to observe them, O most holy Heart of Jesus!
       The more Thy Sacraments are despised and abandoned, the more frequently we shall receive them with love and reverence, O most generous Heart of Jesus!
       The more the imitation of Thy virtues is neglected and forgotten, the more we shall endeavor to practice them, O Heart, model of every virtue!
       The more the devil labors to destroy souls, the more we shall be inflamed with desire to save them, O Heart of Jesus, zealous Lover of souls!
       The more sin and impurity destroy the image of God in man, the more we shall try by purity of life to be a living temple of the Holy Spirit, O Heart of Jesus!
       The more Thy Holy Church is despised, the more we shall endeavor to be her faithful children, O Sweet Heart of Jesus!
       The more Thy Vicar on earth is persecuted, the more we will honor him as the head of Thy Holy Church, show our fidelity and pray for him, O kingly Heart of Jesus!
       O Sacred Heart, through Thy powerful grace, may we become Thy apostles in the midst of a corrupted world, and be Thy crown in the kingdom of heaven.

If I understand correctly, the intended date for these Masses is the 27th of October.

Here in our parish at Our Lady of Victories Church, October 27, 2011, it will be a day of penance and reparation for this scandal. We will have a whole day ADORATION of the Blessed Sacrament. The Blessed  Sacrament will be exposed immediately after the morning Mass of October 27. The exposition will continue until the morning, October 28, (except during the the evening mass). 

As what Fr. Regis de Cacqueray wrote "That is why we cannot keep silent, and while the Pope prepares for one of the most serious acts of his pontificate, we vigorously and publicly proclaim our indignation, hoping and beseeching Heaven that this well-prepared calamity may not take place."

Let us storm heavens with our prayers.
