Event Description
We would like to offer this prayer event for the upcoming elections both here in the U.S. and abroad. We ask that God show us mercy through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and give us the leaders we need to overcome the evils we are all facing, rather than the leaders we deserve by our sins.
The prayer offered is the Memorare of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will recite this prayer three times a day. You can pray it all at one time or throughout the day, it is up to you.
This will go from September 8th, the birthday of Our Lady to November 8th.
Memoráre in Latin:
Memoráre, o piísima Virgo María, non esse audítum a sǽculo, quemquam ad tua curréntem præsídia, tua implorántem auxília, tua peténtem suffrágia esse derelíctum. Ego tali animátus confidéntia ad te, Virgo Vírginum, Mater, curro; ad te vénio; coram te gemens peccátor assísto. Noli, Mater Verbi, verba mea despícere, sed audi propítia et exáudi. Amen.
