Dear Christian,

we will be doing the 33 day preparation right here on the Crusaders under the guidance of our priest here in Orlando Florida Father Marc Vernoy.

Each days readings meditations etc will be both posted on the homepage everyday AND this year we will also be sending each days preparation out in a broadcast message.

If you do not have your settings to receive broadcast messages please change them before the start of the prep.

As for the day of the consecration it is recommended that each individual contact the priest for the parish that they attend and try to make arrangements with him to make your consecration on the 22 of August which is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

If you can not make such arrangements and are unable to attend your Chapel that day for your consecration it is then necessary for you to do so at home.

Father Marc Vernoy has extended his invitation for those who can or would like to attend the Mass followed by the consecration at the SSPX Chapel in Sanford Florida, Saint Thomas More.

Naturally that is for all who would like to come but is more likely only to be a showing of those who live in the Florida area.

Dear Valerie,

Please don't be embarrassed it was a first consecration for a number of people last year and others this year as well.

I hope it is both fruitful and enlightening for all of us.

I am a little embarrased to share that this will be my first consecration, so I am really looking forward to it, especially as part of the crusaders, it is nice to know that there are other people out there who have the same sort of feelings and experiences that I have, my reason for joining the crusaders initially was because I felt that I had let  aspects of my faith become dormant, since joining I have felt part of something much bigger than just me and my faith, always a practicing catholic but not always a good catholic, I do try to be better.  Thank you all for your support I really value and appreciate all of you.  I hope that I will be able to complete my consecration this time. Thank you for arranging everything DM. May God bless and keep all of you and may we all complete this consecration with the love and faith we have in our hearts together.

I am hoping to do a better job with this than I did last year.  I started re-reading sections of my "Consecration" book.  :-)  I am finding little gems I missed last year.  :-D

I made total consecration 26 years ago on August 22, 1986. I would love to renew my Holy Slavery promises to Our lady. It is truly a great gift!

I agree with DM, Christine.  I had tried several times before to "do it yourself" as far as the consecration is concerned, but never even made it past the first week.  In doing it with a group, we help each other.  Father Vernoy is a big help and encouragement too.  :-)

That's why we do it together Christine:)  This way we are not going it alone and are more likely to keep going.  A lot of people last year said the same thing.  They could never complete it by themselves.  When we finished the preparation last year every member who signed up made their consecration.

I have every hope and am very encouraged you can do this!  Especially with Father helping and guiding everything.

Thanks for organizing this, DM.  I know I sorely need to renew my consecration.  Sadly, I am getting sloppy in my spiritual life.  :-(
