Event Description

We will begin our Second Annual Consecration to Mary according to St Louis Marie Grignon DeMontfort on July 16th 2012 the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Father Marc Vernoy SSPX Sanford Florida has graciously agreed to oversee and guide this effort once more.

This consecration will be for some a renewal and for others a first time consecration. All are welcome!

The date set for our consecraion/renewal will be August 22nd the Feast of The Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Father Vernoy will be available to help any members participating either by email or by phone. His email address and phone number will be available to all members participating in this event.

There is a 33 day preparation which we must follow before making our consecration or renewing it.

Approximately two weeks before we begin this preparation it is recommended to read Saint Louis DeMontforts "True Devotion to Mary".
For those who do not have the book the Crusaders will be posting a portion of True Devotion each day until it's completion and there will also be a link provided with the full text of the book as well.

I know as a mom that is what I want my children to do, is at least try, not give up. She loves you more than you know. She will help you the rest of the way.

I wish I had some words of wisdom to share with you concerning giving yourself over to Mary but I just don't. Frankly I feel quite the same as you do. All one can do in that case is remember what Saint Alphonse has spoken of Mary, she is the Mother of Mercy. We come to her unworthy, we ask of her to make us worthy. She takes us as we are because she is our Mother. What Mother refuses her child? We have to go to her in humility knowing we are not worthy, but we must go to her none the less.

I will keep you in my prayers, please do keep me in yours too.
