DESCRIPTION:This novena is for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.  It is es
 pecially recommended to try to visit a cemetery on All Souls Day and i
 n the days right afterwards, to try to gain indulgences for the Poor S
 ouls.  If you can, bring holy water on those visits.\n\nThis is separ
 ate from the novena already organized to the Holy Souls, which is not 
 only for their relief but also to ask for their help.\n\n\nMy soul is 
 athirst for the Living God: when shall I come and appear before the fa
 ce of the Lord?\n\nMay light eternal shine upon them, O Lord.\n\nWith 
 Thy saints forever, because Thou are merciful.\n\nLet us pray:\nO God,
  to Whom it belongs always to have mercy and to spare, be gracious to 
 the souls of the faithful departed, and grant them the remission of al
 l their sins, that, being freed from the bonds of death, they may ente
