Dear Crusaders,
The Crusaders of the Immaculate Heart will begin a Crusade of Rosaries for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as she requested at Fatima and in the manner requested; that the Pope in union with all the bishops of the world consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.
This prayer crusade, this collective effort of prayer on our part, will begin January 6th 2014, the birthday of our dear Patroness Saint Joan of Arc and the Blessed Feast of the Epiphany, it will conclude on the evening of January 5th 2015.
We will present our spiritual bouquet of rosaries and Masses offered to Our Heavenly Mother after Mass on January 5th 2015 via the priest who will be offering the Mass that day for this intention.  This event will remain open for the entire year and anyone can join at anytime.  You can also submit rosaries for friends or family who are not Crusaders but who would like to join in this prayer crusade.

*In union with this crusade of rosaries 50 Masses will be offered for this intention as well.  May the Heart of Our Divine Lord and His Most Holy Mother be moved to pity upon the Church and the world and grant us the great gift and grace of the consecration which will mean so much to all.

This Crusade is under the patronage of St. Joan of Arc

Thank you, DM, for that post.  Very sobering.  I've read the story about the Kings of France before, but this post presented some other worthwhile points as well.

An interesting post I found online, not mine, but what this guy writes is indeed interesting.

Danny, I will add my two cents: in 1689, Our Lord ask Louis XIV, through His message to St Margaret in paray-le-Monial, that he consecrates his kingdom, his own person and his coat of arms to His Sacred heart. For some obscure reasons - I am pe
rsonally an historian, specialized in the Bourbon dynasty and it's not that easy to figure out what happened - the consecration never took place, and 100 years later, nearly day for day, the French Revolution started. Louis XVI (Louis XIV great-great-great-grandson) consecrated his family and his kingdom to the Sacred Heart, from his prison cell. Some historians questioned the consecration itself, saying it was not sure if the document attributed to Louis was a forgery or not. Others, taking it for granted, questioned the effect of such a consecration done by a captive monarch. We have got the answer from Heaven in 1931 when Our Lord told sister Lucy in Rianjo about the FUTURE consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary: "They did not want to heed my request. Like the King of France they will repent and do so, but it will be late"... That's crystal clear: Heaven accepted the consecration EVEN IF IT WAS NOT DONE when & as requested. Louis XVI's martyre was the price to pay, even though that pious king had not been personally responsible for the delay: he paid the price for his predecessors and carried his cross. My take on this is that THE HOLY FATHER WILL DO IT, under the very same circumstances: imprisoned, all alone, before offering his own life through martyrdom. Jacinta's vision is quite reminescent of the actual status of Pope Benediict: "t I saw the Holy Father IN A VERY BIG HOUSE, kneeling by a table, with his head buried in his hands, and he was weeping. Outside the house, there were many people, some of them were throwing stones, others were cursing him and using bad language". My personal conclusion is that it will as it was with France: death of the Monarch (Pope), destruction of churches, persecutions, wars, destruction, all because Rome never obeyed when it was still time to do so. [...]AMDG, Louis-M
