O Little Flower pray for us. I too have some rose petals that were touched to

her relics. Obtained them at the National Shrine in Darien, Il.

DM, I loved the story about dear little St. Therese's help for your friend.  I'm not so sure about the story of the snowstorm, though!  :-o

I am very fortunate to have a tiny piece of cloth which was touched to St. Therese's relics.  Should I ask her to send you a snowstorm?  ;-D

A little story about St Therese' visit to our city in 1999.

Someone had the idea to take Little Therese relics all over the world back around 1999 so they took them to all the Carmelite convents around the globe.

We had 2 in our city so Therese stayed for several days on her visit. My trad friend who lived down the road from me NEVER had water in her well.  It was constantly running dry so she was not able to do her clothes for her family which numbered 7 except at the laundromat up the street and they had to sparingly bath and washing dishes was equally a strain.

So anyway Lynn went like the rest of us to see Little Therese at the Cathedral and took some handkerchiefs with her to touch them to her.

So the next day I call her and ask the usual "So what are you up to"?  She said she was washing clothes.  I commented on how difficult a task it was for her to carry all those baskets to the laundromat etc.  She says...no I'm doing them here in our house.  She said she had cut a piece off from one of the hankies and threw it down her well.  The well swelled with water and they ended up having water non stop for the next month.  Amazing!  Thanks to Little Therese :)

The body of St. Therese left the city either Nov 1 or Nov 2 I forget which but the news had reported that it was the first time in 54 years that there were no incidents of vandalism or anything like it on Halloween.(St Therese was in town, from October 31 to Nov 1 or 2)  I always counted that among the blessings she bestowed on our undeserving city :)
