of the Hopeless and even o f the Impossible.  St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so pat ient and of such compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus that thou could obtain from Him whatever thy asked, on account of which all conf idently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not relief, at least comf ort.  Be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on be half of thy suppliant.  Please be generous with us, as thou has been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spre ading of devotion to thee, and for the consolation of those who trust in
